We are so grateful to everyone who joined us to celebrate the mission of Friends of Westchase during our Spring into Westchase Luncheon! Your partnership and support is not only a gift to Friends of Westchase, but a testament to our shared vision to change lives, both for today and for tomorrow, for children and families in Westchase.

Thanks to generous involvement from Grace Presbyterian Church, our community partners, and many individuals, we were able to reach our goal, raising over $31,000 to ensure initiatives that include Elementary and Middle School mentoring programs, F3 Afterschool program, Basketball and Burgers Mentoring, and the Revere Community Garden will continue to thrive. These programs are essential in our efforts to create transformation in the lives of our children, youth and families.

Evan, one of our speakers at the luncheon, shared about his mentoring experience with his mentee, Bill. Evan shared a powerful testimony of the life-impact our mentoring programs have in the lives of our children and those who pour into them. Thanks to the many volunteers, donors and partners, children like Bill have a different view – from windows across Westchase, our children, families and youth look out on a future where hope is springing up in the most unlikely places.
